The first meeting of Young Scientists’ Association of Meso-Hierarchy was held.
On the afternoon of November 11 (Sat.), the first meeting for Meso-Hierarchy Young Scientists’ Association was held at Kuramae Kaikan Royal Blue Hall (Tokyo Institute of Technology). The 91 participants, including students and post-doctoral fellows belonging to the Meso-Hierarchy members’ groups as well as faculty members, exchanged their research introductions (short presentations) and poster presentations. In addition to the lecture by Prof. Sagara (A03), who is the representative of the Young Scientists’ Association, we invited Prof. Takashi Hirose (Institute for Chemical Research, Kyoto University) as a special lecturer. He introduced his research history with various episodes and gave a passionate message to young researchers. We would like to express our gratitude to Prof. Hirose, members of Sagara Lab. and Kawano Lab. of Tokyo Institute of Technology who organized the meeting, and all the participants to the meeting.
