On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, a symposium on “Material Science of Meso-Hierarchy” was held as a parallel symposium in the 104th Annual Meeting of The Chemical Society of Japan (Nihon University, Funabashi Campus). In addition to lectures on research topics related to the purpose of this research area by members of the planning group, Dr. Fumihiko Tanaka of Toray gave an invited lecture on the importance of the hierarchy of carbon fiber materials.
